The SYSAAF is a non-profit professional association which groups together companies developing rational programs of genetic improvement and-or management applied to poultry, fish and oyster species. 42 companies are member of  SYSAAF. As a research and development organization, SYSAAF is a unique contributor in France in the domains of selection and genetic management of brood stocks, as well as in reproduction biotechnologies. Its technical service, consisting of 7 engineers and a veterinarian, contribute to set up efficient company's genetic selection programs, to provide technical support on day-to-day activities, as well as to implement innovative technologies.
