Labogena DNA is a laboratory for animal genetic analyses. Labogena DNA is an independent subsidiary of the union of cooperatives Evolution XY (1200 people on the payroll), located in Jouyen-Josas France (south of Paris). It runs about 300 000 analyses per year, with 45 technicians and engineers, and has a collection of more than 2 million samples. The R&D department has been involved in implementing new genetic marker panels for many species, including oysters, shrimp, salmon, other fishes.
